WHO WE ARE

The IMPACT Young Professionals of Color (Y.P.C.) Task Force is a coalition of young professionals of color prepared to assist the Obama-Biden Transition Project and the White House Office of Personnel in identifying qualified young professionals of color to work in the Obama-Biden Administration. As young professionals working in leadership positions throughout the public and private sectors, we are well positioned to serve as a liaison to the young professional community on behalf of the Obama-Biden Transition Project, and for the Obama-Biden Administration.

HOW WE CAN HELP – THE COLLECTIVE POWER OF YOUNG PROFESSIONALS OF COLOR

We understand the critical need for qualified and competent young professionals of color to fill positions within the Executive Branch. Given the significance of diversity of race and age, we are confident that we can support your efforts to identify and to place talented individuals throughout the Obama-Biden Administration by identifying, interviewing, and recommending talented young professionals of color to the Obama-Biden Transition Project and to the Administration. The IMPACT Young Professionals of Color Task Force is immediately prepared to serve as a liaison between the Obama-Biden Transition Project and young professionals of color by:

  • Providing access to our national network of young professionals of color.
  • Utilizing www.IMPACTConnection.com, a website designed to increase diversity in policy-related fields and to
    connect young professionals of color to potential opportunities.
  • Promoting and disseminating relevant and official information to our core demographic.
  • Serving as a conduit on behalf of young professionals of color to ensure their consideration for appointments and
    other positions.
  • Leveraging our professional and personal networks to review and recommend qualified minority candidates for
    consideration.
  • Providing continual feedback for best practices to engage young professionals of color.
