Estuardo Rodriguez, Esq.

In the year 2000, a mutual friend introduced Estuardo V. Rodriguez, Jr., Esq. and Christopher M. Bowie to one another. Both gentlemen had an interest in creating, promoting, and marketing local events that were of interest to the professional Hispanic/Latino community. With Estuardo’s ties and experienced background working with Capitol Hill and in media relations, and Christopher’s background in working with Washington DC’s most popular entertainment venues and with several Hispanic/Latino organizations as an event promoter, both men realized that by working together they could make their dream a reality.
Starting in 2001, Estuardo and Christopher partnered with others to create the Viernes Social Committee, a networking happy hour event which took place the first Friday of each month at a different restaurant or nightclub in the area. In the fall of 2001, Estuardo and Christopher broke away from the Committee with the intentions of creating a more encompassing concept that would truly capture their intended audience.
On May 10, 2002, LatinVIP.com was launched with a staff of five individuals who all believed that the growth of the Hispanic/Latino community coupled with the growth of Internet usage among Hispanics/Latinos would lead to LatinVIP.com becoming the premier Web site for Latino professionals in the Washington, DC area. LatinVIP.com currently boasts more than 3, 000 subscribers from 23 states, Central and South America, and Europe and has expanded to include the hosting of its own events such as the annual art exhibit, film screenings, concerts, and charity food and toy drives.
Their goal is to continue to connect all professionals to the Latino cultural and entertainment offerings of the D.C. metro area.In addition to LatinVIP.com, Estuardo currently works as a government affairs attorney at The Raben Group, LLC.
